Culture and business Go Hand-in-Hand
Creos has cemented its place as leader of the mobile interactive installation market. It is also making a name for itself as the first company from the cultural industry to be listed on the prestigious Startup 50 ranking from Canadian Business and Maclean’s. This recognition garnered extensive media coverage for Creos.
In 2018, more than a dozen installations traveled to more than 24 cities in seven different countries on four continents. That is more than double the number of trips compared to the previous year.
These positive results were made possible by high-quality installations, committed owners and inspired customers who wanted to bring life and beauty to their public spaces.
Creos strengthens client loyalty
The trust demonstrated by our various partners around the world translates into loyalty from our clients. More than half of our 2017 clients partnered with us again in 2018. Here is what they have to say.
Experiences establish a fast-growing young industry
Several creators had the opportunity to share their knowledge and experience at various events, including Olivier Girouard (Loop) and Atomic3 (Iceberg), who participated in Artist Talks at the Canal Convergence festival in Scottsdale.
Creos was also featured in various media and highlighted at several gatherings for the interactive art market and other creative industries. These opportunities helped us explain the creative, social role that light and interaction will increasingly play in public spaces, allowing us to shine the light on a young, fast-growing industry: interactive installation tours.
Everything is on track for 2019
In 2018, we acquired the Chimes installation, a coproduction of Illuminart and the Quartier des Spectacles Partnership. In addition, La Camaraderie joined us, adding the wonderful Luminuits to our portfolio. These two installations went on their first outing in fall 2018.
Everything is in place to showcase new installations in 2019.
