Art for Collective Consciousness: Weci | Koninut at HUB Montréal 2025
From October 20 to 22, 2025, Creos took part in the 9th edition of HUB Montréal, a flagship event dedicated to digital creativity and cultural innovation. As part of the showcase Shared Ground: Art for Collective Consciousness, our colleague Alexandre Lemieux presented Weci | Koninut, an immersive installation that invites participation, awakens the senses, and encourages reflection on our relationship to the land. Alongside engaged creators and studios, Creos had the opportunity to highlight the artistic and collaborative process behind the work, as well as its impact on activating public spaces.
A highlight of this edition: Weci | Koninut was also presented just steps away from the conference, at the Parterre of the Quartier des spectacles. HUB Montréal participants were able to experience the installation firsthand, discovering its poetry, sensory dimension, and in-situ engagement potential. A unique opportunity to connect the panel discussion with the tangible experience of the artwork.
Each year, HUB Montréal brings together more than a thousand professionals from about thirty countries around digital creation, innovation, and new cultural experiences. A privileged hub for exchange where boldness, collaboration, and exploration converge, and where projects like Weci | Koninut truly resonate.
Weci | Koninut is a creation by Dave Jenniss and Julie-Christina Picher, in collaboration with Eruoma Awashish, Étienne Thibeault, Serge Maheu, and Init.
