Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition

Asia’s most influential lighting and LED event, the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition, celebrated a successful 2018 edition as more than 165,000 visitors descended on the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou from June 9 ‒ 12. A total of 2,602 exhibitors demonstrated the latest in lighting and LED products and solutions across 19 halls and 195,000 sqm of exhibition space.

One of the highlights of the fair was the THINKLIGHT: Embracing Changes Forum, where more than 80 renowned speakers (the world’s leading authorities in lighting concepts, technology and design) shared their insights into the future of lighting.

Speakers at the THINK forum, Alexandre Lemieux from Creos and our partner Louis-Xavier Gagnon-Lebrun from Atomic3, stood out by the novelty of their topic. They have demonstrated the creative and social role that light will increasingly play in public spaces, reveal a young and rapidly growing industry, and they have opened a path of reflection in the lighting industry.

The professionals present were interested in knowing how to innovate with light and chart a new course. They also showed a strong interest for the adaptation of the interactive installations in order to export them all around the world.

What came out of it: The quality of the experience is what makes the interactive installations universal!
